    The LLama Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanzaa/Holiday Thread

    Hello everyone!

In order to get us all in a holiday mood, I thought it would be fun to share llama Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanzaa/Holiday stories and carols. I know we all have our favorites, but try to choose your top two or three.

    I'll Start.

The Llama Who Stole Christmas - Part I

    Every llama
    Down in Llama-ville
    Liked Christmas a lot...

    But the Grinch,
Who lived just North of Llama-ville,
    Did NOT!

    The Grinch hated Christmas!
    The whole Christmas season!
Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason.
It could be that his head wasn't screwed on quite right.
It could be, perhaps, that his hoofs were too tight.
But I think that the most likely reason of all
May have been that his heart was two sizes too small.

    But,
    Whatever the reason,
    His heart or his hoofs,
He stood there on Christmas Eve, hating the Llamas,
Staring down from his cave with a sour, Grinchy frown
At the warm lighted windows below in their town.
For he knew every llama down in llama-ville beneath
Was busy now, hanging a mistleoe wreath.

"And they're hanging their stockings!" he snarled with a sneer.
"Tomorrow is Christmas! It's practically here!"
Then he growled, with his grinch fingers nervously drumming,
"I MUST find a way to keep Christmas from coming!"
    For, tomorrow, he knew...
...All the llama girls and boys
Would wake up bright and early. They'd rush for their toys!

And then! Oh, the noise! Oh, the noise! Noise! Noise! Noise!
That's one thing he hated! The NOISE! NOISE! NOISE! NOISE!
Then the llamas, young and old, would sit down to a feast.
And they'd feast! And they'd feast!
And they'd FEAST! FEAST! FEAST! FEAST!

They would start on llama-pudding, and rare llama-roast-beast
Which was something the Grinch couldn't stand in the least!
    And THEN
They'd do something he liked least of all!
Every llama down in llama-ville, the tall and the small,
Would stand close together, with Christmas bells ringing.
They'd stand hoof in hoof. And the llamas would start singing!
    They'd sing! And they'd sing!
AND they'd SING! SING! SING! SING!

And the more the Grinch thought of the Llama-Christmas-Sing
The more the Grinch thought, "I must stop this whole thing!
"Why for fifty-three years I've put up with it now!
I MUST stop Christmas from coming!
    ...But HOW?"

    (To be continued....)

The LLama Who Stole Christmas has always been one of my family's favorite Llama tails...I mean tales. Thank you LDF for bringing this warm holiday story to the attention and delight both big and little MiceChatters everywhere. The Llama in your story is even cuter than a certain crossdressing dinosaur from one of your previous yarns.

    Christmas Llamas

    the No “el” llama.

    A couple of
    Christmas rubber stamps.

The one below says “Merry Criasmas”.

Rich earthy colors, the hues of Peruvian soil,
    characterize this ceramic sculpture entitled
    “The Pack Animal Driver’s Christmas”

    This nativity set from Ecuador
    is made from is “masapan”
    which means bread dough.
    It depicts the Ecuadorian Quechua
indian rendition of the birth of Jesus.
The three kings are on llamas.

    It was about eighty degrees
    when I spotted this
    sleeping Santa
    in Santiago, Chile.

    Those animals pulling the sleigh
    look suspiciously like llamas.

    Here Comes Llama Claus

    Here comes Llama Claus!
    Here comes Llama Claus!
    Right down Llama Claus Lane!
Pelosi and Hillary and all his reindeer
    are pulling on the reins.
    Cut and run, take away our guns;
    All is merry and bright.
Hold on to your stockings and say your prayers,
'Cause Llama Claus robs us tonight.

    Here comes Llama Claus!
    Here comes Llama Claus!
    Right down Llama Claus Lane!
He's got a bag that is filled with tax hykes
    for the working class again.
Hear the socialist government jingle jangle,
    What a horrible blight.
Jump in bed, cover up your head,
'Cause Llama Claus robs us tonight

Did you hear about Andrew Lloyd Llama's new musical, "Llamas"?

It's got all sorts of great characters like:

    Isabella the glamour llama
Mungojerrie and Rumpleteaser, the mischevious thieving llamas
    Gus, the theatre llama
and Mr. Mistoffellama, the mystical llama

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

So what if he didn't have the shiney red nose... Fernando knew if just given a chance, he could pull that sleigh!

And the angel said, "Behold I bring you tidings of great joy!! Free alfalfa for all!!"

You...over there... hiding behind the tree... put that snowball down right now or I'll show you just how far I can spit!

But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
"Happy Llama to all, and to all a good-llama."

    SMIRNOFF da RED NOSED LLAMA

    Smirnoff da red nosed llama
Had a great big shiny schnoz.
    (from drinking vodka and rum)
And when he went to blow it,
Snot stuck to everything in globs!
    (it was gross, son)

    All of da other llamas
Used to give him wedgies each day.
    Dey never let po Smirnoff
Hook up wit da hot llama babes.

    Den one drunken Christmas binge
    Santa came and belched -
Smirnoff wit yo schnoz so bright,
Pimp me a guided ride tonight!

Den da llama hoes and gangstas
Rapped and shouted out wit glee -
    Smirnoff da red nosed llama
We be down wit dat...so LET'S PARTY!!!
