    Food off the floor

I just dropped the other half of my banana on the floor.

It was delicious, no bruises, a pilar of perfection for other banana's to attain. I was tempted to pick it up and finish it, but I tossed it way instead.

Sadly, I follow no time limit rules...Once it hits the floor, it's trash.

Well it totally depends on what your talking about. Like say toast- dry side down I'd go with 5 second rule. Jelly side down and it's done for; in the trash it goes. My son drops his banana on a daily basis. Fruit is generally rinse and reusable. But on the other hand things like spaghetti, not so much.

This is a very gray area issue.

I seem to be always in control of my banana. Sounds like a personal problem.

If I could rinse it off with water I would consider it good otherwise it goes into the trash.

Off topic your description of it being a "pillar of perfection" has created a strange picture in my mind. All of a sudden I am picturing the Parthenon being held up by Bananas. Doric Bananas anyone or am I alone in this?

I posted this story on a similar theme a couple days ago:

I heard my aunt tell my cousin once, years ago when he was little, after he dropped a piece of candy on the ground in Disneyland... he started to put it back in his mouth and she said "Eh... it's okay, it's Disneyland!"

Without sounding too dirty, it slipped out of it's peel and plop right onto the floor.

Looking at the "plop" and the "I love Pooh Fudge" statement in your sig, this is getting dirtier and dirtier by the moment.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

Well, they moved the Fudge store from Frontier, to the Pooh area.

In Joe Friday voice: So you are saying that the banana in question was peeling out and floored it/ And you said that he used to be a pillar of his community? Got it.

Calling all cars! Calling all Cars! Be on the lookout for a speeding banana. It has been known to hang out in some trashy areas. Subject may not be alone as he has been known to hang with a dangerous bunch.

I needed this laugh on a boring afternoon at work. I personnally won't eat anything off the floor, but I have a friend that I was out dancing with in a very crowded club and his gum fell out. Well, yes...he picked it up and put it back in! Bleh!
