a freidn of a friend told me that imagineers went to the swiss alps to see how Switzerland was reskinning their mountains.

Disneyland is thinking of renaming the Matterhorn to Magic Mountain.
With the influx of gang members, this was Disney killing two birds on the cheap.

Yes. true enough. Years ago, when WDI learned of the sinking aspect and the potential for a giant pit, there was a proposal to retheme it to pay homage the space epic "The Black Hole". Thankfully, they solved the sinking issue last night and none of us will have to endure that.

The Black Hole was actually installed in the '98 makeover of Tomorrowland
- the problem was it work so well that everything in the '98 makeover
ended sucking. And then all the attractions from '98 got sucked up in the
larger Black Hole ~ AND THEN they had to open DCA, so The Black Hole
had to have something else to suck in, and sure enough, DCA got sucked
in, and now DCA continues to suck too, to this very day!

It's a good thing DCA was there, to keep the rest of DL from getting sucked
in.
