So how long has Mice Chat actually been around?

Just wondering how long Mice Chat has been around? Excuse me if this information is somewhere that I should have looked. I am the type of person who usually seeks information with a direct question.

2,000 threads and counting....I am interested as to how long this took, and who's been here since the beginning.

I know I read a little background in the thread asking what or why we like MiceChat. Perhaps I am not the only MiceChatter who would enjoy a little history lesson.

MiceChat has been around since January 05 ... officially .... but I have no idea how long it took them to acutally plan and get it online.

MiceChat went live on January 11th, 2005. We just marked our four month anniversary. We seemed to hit the ground running and never looked back. The success of the site is astounding.

I was wondering, too. I saw that this website started in January... but it seems like a group of micechatters who signed up initially, seemed to have "migrated" from somwhere else and already knew each other... did you all meet on another message board or website? Just curious...

I think this board is made up of something that's like static electricity - it's a love of Disney that helps everything cling together. Not so much a migration but a gathering.

I'll tell, I'll tell. Let me just say that most of the original members are nomads of a sort. Seems though, we have made permanent camp here. But that is only due to the Admins and Mods that run the place. This is like the bar on Cheers. Everyone knows your name.
