Praise oh Holy Target God, grant me the strength to service you and spread thay word.

Back east, when I was growing up, etc., didn't have Targets. I'd heard about them and laughed - it was just another KMart, just another Wal-Mart. What was the big deal?

Then I moved to Colorado and saw what the big deal was! And I got myself addicted to Target! *sigh* I love it!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

We practically moved into the three closest Targets planning Cassidy's Star Wars birthday party....I think we bought pretty much a little of everything....and she ended up with every single action figure that Target had out on the shelves. We even bought the Darth Vader beach towel!! Bwahahaha!!! They saw us coming--we're SUCKERS!!! We bought the tins, the stationery, the pens, the M&M lightsabers, the Chewbacca and Vader spinny suckers, the movie cards, the soundtrack, the Obi Wan "feel the force" light saber, the color-changing lightsaber, the plug n play light saber training thing, the Vader transformation lego set, an annoying talking Yoda thing (God, I hate it!) and just for the hell of it, we even bought a freaking Vader gift card.

SUCKERS!!! And Cass stiiiiillll hasn't spent her $50 at ToysRUs. She has a few returns to make at Target first (got two "feel the force" lightsabers and 2 DV shirts).

We're almost (not quite) SW'ed out. And Target is totally to blame!!

(not our own lack of will power, of course)

Cassidy's has maybe $20 left on it, then I'm going to um, "hold onto it" for her until she's older. And by "hold onto it," I mean peek at it in my wallet and giggle for the next 10 years. I love it!!!

I got me one. I asked the lady, "what is the least amount I need to put on it?"

and she said, I can just give it to you. SCORE!!!!!!!

It now hangs faithfully on my wall, and I push the button to light up his lightsaber and hear the breathing....

That Blue Shirt is a special occassion Blue Shirt. I have only worn it maybe 3 times since I bought it. But those 3 times, let me tell you.... I looked smashing in it, simply fetching!
