Probably nothing. Nothing all that spectacular is happing around here and all the semi-interesting parties are all charging $25-50 to get in. My friend's band isn't playing (bass player out of town), otherwise I'd do that (they play the night before though). Actually going to see if my friend wants to come over and help me drain the bottle of champagne my folks are bringing me (someone gave it to my dad for his retirement but my folks don't drink anymore so I said I'd take it. ).
We have grand New Year's Eve plans. Ny wife and are planning a quiet dinner at home, something simple (maybe some Hawaiian Ahi Poke, which is, marinated sashimi tuna and salad with steamed rice, um, um good!). Then maybe watch a NYE show and off to sleep shortly after New Years, EST, but we live in PST.
Every year I ring in the New Year (EST), then off to sleep. Gotta get up early to watch the Rose Parade! We usually try to get up in time to catch some of the pre-parade, then the parade. Yep, big plans, very big plans!
Umm, maybe having a baby? Sooner or later she's going to arrive.

Most of these past years I've spent it with my my mom, brother, and my aunt's family at some fancy restaurant or at one of their fancy apartments. We always have gifts for each other so it's kind of a Post-Christmas thing. Since they actually live in Dominican Republic, they're not able to make it sometimes so we spend it with my aunt's aunt's family (more than 20 people in one home) and ring in the new year together. It's all very fun.
