American Idol tour!!

Oh my gosh! I am sooo excited I just got tickets to the American Idol tour! They are really close to the stage (on the floor row eleven)... Wooo! It's on August 17th... is anyone else going? (If you want to go, tickets went on sale today at twelve o'clock..... so buy them now before it gets sold out!)

I just bought tickets for me, my sister and mom. Not as good of seats as i'd hoped..but this should make up for accidentally getting Clay Aiken tickets for my sister....that had the wrong state... OOOPS. She was so broken hearted.

American Idol is probably the poorest show on television right now. It has:
-bad judges
-bad performers
-bad fans
How it is still on the air is a mystery. Do you realize that there are people who have put their lives in hold so that they can continuously send in their tape to American Idol, hoping they will get a chance to go on the show? Little do they realize that if they were good at singing, they would already have some sort of deal/career in the field. Stick to something you are good at American Idol junkies, like working at Walgreens.

I can think of FAR worse shows than AI to watch on television. In comparrison..it's quite tame and harmless.

DeepSeaDiver: have you ever considered that many of those people think they have to be in LA or Nashville to have a shot and that their position in life does not allow them to uproot themselves and chase the dream? For many of the contestants on AI, talented or otherwise, they have previously done nothing to chase their dream, and view AI as their "one shot".

Yes, there are plenty of untalented or half-trained people on the show. That's what it's for: amateurs. But if there's talent, they go on further in the show, and receive the training they need.

Then again, there's the Constantine types, who already seem to know how to work their target audience...

How tall is he? I didn't think he was anything but average height until he stood next to (that idiot) Ryan Secrest.
