More Fun and Games from Pat Robertson...

Has this Idiot had an exam from a good Shrink yet? I think he needs one...
As do his countless followers who keep sending him $-MILLONS-$ every month..

VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia (AP) -- Evangelical broadcaster Pat Robertson said Tuesday that God has told him that a terrorist attack on the United States would cause a "mass killing" late in 2007.
"I'm not necessarily saying it's going to be nuclear," he said during his news-and-talk television show "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network.
"The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that."

I hope the day comes when God smacks that smile right off his face....

In biblical times, if a prophet was wrong even once, the accepted practice was to take them out and stone them to death.

I wonder if Mr. Robertson would display that level of courage to stand behind his convictions.

That man never ceases to amaze me.
The saddest part is that there are people who believe him and are terrified right now.
He should be ashamed of himself.

Doesn't the bible say it's a sin to make psychic predictions?

I don't see how Mr. Robertson can make predictions as such. It's ludicrous.

Yes, a nuclear attack on the US would probably cause mass destruction, as it would anywhere - but to say that THIS WILL happen in late 2007 is just.....well, I can't even fathom why he'd say this.

Maybe you missed the bits about prophets?

However if the things they prophesy about fail to happen- then they are proved false.
