OH, IT'S THE ABSOLUTE BEST. CHOMP in Downtown Fullerton is one of my favorites. Expect to get more rock for your roll... as that's the soundtrack they blast. It's loud, it's fun, it's like a party where by the end of the night, even the chefs are drunk.
Not only is it one of the largest sushi bars in Orange County, it's also a teppan grill, drink bar, and they also serve burgers and steaks and the like for those in your family who are a bit pickier. Three executive chefs allow that to happen!
And their executive sushi chef won the best sushi chef award in southern california in 2005! No, he's not japanese but who cares! It's FRESH.
For Mexican Food, I like RIGOBERTO'S in Placentia off Yorba Linda and Placentia. It's sooo good.
DEL TACO also hits the spot for me.
Hmm - I will have to check out both these places. I've passed by Rigoberto's a couple of times on my way home and wondered if it was any good.
Ok - then what is the BEST Chinese food you have ever had???
Oh tons. Kinda all over the place really... some in China, some in Taiwan, some right here in Southern CA in Monterey Park (btwn 10 and 60 freeways East LA) and in Rowland Heights (off 60, west of 57). But I'll try and recommend something closer to Disneyland that might hit your taste buds.
It's called Mas' Islamic Chinese Restaurant and it's on Orangethorpe in Fullerton (north of Disneyland and east of Harbor). It's a large restaurant on the side of the street with no other shopping or eateries around it so it should be easy to spot.
Wondering why it's Islamic? Well... it lacks pork from the menu but the food is Chinese and specializes in lamb (where it won't have that distinct lamb smell that most people don't like). So while pork isn't an option, the other dishes are very very good (at least I think so). If you give it a try and don't like it, I owe you a Disneyland fountain coke.
