sadly Aspergers is one of those diseases there isnt' a whole lot of postive treatments for. Its one of those "we know what it is, most of what it does but have no idea how to fix it" diseases. A sad day for the family indeed.
This is so sad.Nikki Bacharach, daughter of Burt Bacharach and Angie Dickinson, committed suicide, the songwriter and actress said in a statement Friday.
Nikki Bacharach, 40, suffered from Asperger's Disorder, a form of autism. She killed herself Thursday night at her condo, said Linda Dozoretz, a spokeswoman for the family.
That is so sad. I really feel for her parents.
Just very, very sad.
I don't know who she is but that's very sad.
Socially Asperger's is a very devastating condition. I had a good friend who had it and it was hard at times to know when he was kidding or being serious about certain things he said ... but he was very intelligent. It broke his heart that he couldn't really adapt to society very well.
I feel for the family and their loss, but I can only imagine how hard it is to live with such a condition.
Very sad.
Life is so fragile...Enjoy it while you can, you never know what tomorrow might bring.

Very very sad indeed - Burt Bacharach is one of my favorite songwriters and Angie Dickinson a favorite actress. My prayers to them and other family members for this very tragic loss.

"Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" was one of my dad's favorite songs and it was played at this funeral.
I can't imagine the loss of a child, grown or not. It's so sad. Losing my dad was horrible, but it's the natural order of things. Her poor parents.
These is sad news. I would hate to see this happen to anyone.
1st Amendment-Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
I always hate seeing this kind of thing happen.
It robs so many people and ruins so many lives when someone commits suicide. I can't even imagine how painful it would be if your child did it.
This just make me really sad...................
This has been a Filmways presentation dahling.
