I work for Enterprise Rent a Car....I probably have 1-3 people/month come in for this same thing that happened to their car. The third row seat costs anywhere from $2,000-4,000, depending on cloth/leather etc. If you went on Ebay, go see how many 3rd row seats you will find. Theives sell them there or to shady body shops that need to replace others that have had them stolen.

I was so excited to take the car up to Big Bear in a couple weeks too

We're expecting rain? Uh oh. I haven't looked at the weather forecast since Monday. Heck, it was 85 degrees yesterday.

For the first time ever, it seems, I have now gotten my weather forecast from Micechat.

Sounds like that 3rd seat is pretty valuable.

    Crime still sucks though.

Sorry to hear about the batch of bad luck that you have been experiencing lately. It'll get better.

Yeah, those rear seats (and the others) are VERY expensive to replace. They usually don't have a serial number or VIN stamped on them, so they are easy to sell.

That stinks. I hope your car gets back to normal soon.

Even if things aren't particularly valuable, they can be stolen. The spare tire cover was stolen from my car and sold on e-bay. But nobody cares, not e-bay and not the Ventura police department. They might have cared if I had marked the cover in an identifiable way but probably not. The attitude was less than stellar. Ebay didn't care at all.

Ouch! I hope the shop can fix it quickly and try to get things back to normal.

So sorry this happened to you. I actually had my car broken into years ago for one of those "suck to the glass" Garfields! Boy that was costly....and they took my bowling ball too, found it down the street!

I've got an SUV and a Mini-Van, I'll keep my fingers crossed.
