Pocky: Innocent treat or dangerous addiction?

Lately, I've been seeing pictures of our very own Dusty Sage passing around a "treat" known as Pocky at our Mice Chat meets, and I became very curious about it.

So I did a little research on the internet, and found out that Pocky is a dangerous addiction. Just check out the information at http://www.depthsofaddiction.com/

They've produced at least 10 episodes detailing the extent of "The Pocky Problem." Heres the first one.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcVJVbVFAuE

So I ask you: Are Mice Chatters becoming hopelessly addicted to Pocky? And why is our own Dusty passing around this innocent looking "treat" at the Sunday meets? What's the REAL story?

Do you consider it a candy? It's more like a chocolate dipped pretzel stick to me. Any other interpretations?

Geez, I hope I'll be okay, because I did eat the Men's Pocky on Sunday. Yikes.

I didn't know pocky was a serious problem in America! What is with the men's pocky? Does it taste different or is it just the packaging?

As someone mentioned they do make it with different frostings. I tried a green tea flavored one once and it wasn't so yummy

Oh I just said that because of the chocolate. I guess to each his/her own though. Still good nonetheless.

The Men's Pocky is a little bit bitter. That's all I'm sayin'. Oh, and it will put hair on your chest. And perhaps your back.

Pengy...you'd better stop while you're ahead. Otherwise I'll look for the Redhead with one eyebrow at the next meet.
