I think I might need to order another as I can't seem to find mine since fall of 2005. I really miss not having it on my bag in the parks!

I know what you mean. I used to have my MiceChat badge (that said Charlie in big letters and Ciracrama in little letters) on my backpack when I visited Disneyland. One weekend I came home and it was gone. Fortunatley I had a 2nd one with the names reversed, so I can still wear one, only now it has my username in large font instead of my first name.

I did the badge/pin as she called me back so yes they are still being offered. I wore mine to the meet a couple of weeks ago and will wear it again this Sunday with my new Custom Made Peter Pan sweatshirt.

It costs a little more, but businesses (who usually use this company) are willing to pay the extra cost to avoid the grief of getting a soft-side envelope that has been mangled in sorting machine... hence, the box and the associated cost for shipping items in a box, versus an envelope and a 39 cent stamp.
If you examine the info, and considering you're not paying sales tax (unless you live in Utah) it doesn't really look like the company is gouging anyone on shipping.

Reminds me of how Amtrak charges $12 for "shipping" on tickets when it would only cost them 39¢ for postage.

How do you mangle a nametag like this anyway? This isn't exactly what I would call delicate. You just put it in a padded envelope and pay 64¢ for the two ounces and that's it. I'd be willing to buy a nametag and fedex has an option marked "bill recipient". I'd also be willing to mail in an SASE and payment for the item

Namifiers is a business that makes nametags and then makes sure that they get to their destination in one piece. That's what good businesses do. They don't have time to deal with clients who want to send them a SASE, or pay for shipping upon receipt.
OIY! I think we're lucky that they are even willing to make onesies and twosies of these MiceChat badges!

If you feel that they charge too much, then don't use them.

When we ordered badges for the Anniversary meet we got six friends together who wanted them and had them shipped to one address, which means only one shipping charge. They are good quality badges made by an efficient company. We all felt they were well worth the money.
