Snakes, why did it have to be snakes?

Ok, well I was driving into the parking lot at work this morning around 11am. What to my wandering eyes do appear.....no, not Santa and his reindeer, but a SNAKE!!! A freaking HUGE SNAKE!!!! I freaked and ran to my co-workers office. Apparently snakes are not uncommon on the grounds around here during the summer!!!

WHAT? WHAT???? I'm petrified of the suckers!!! OMG I'm so scared I am going to see another one. Oh I just about cried when I saw it. My boss asked if I ran it over. I said "NO WAY!!!! Knowing my luck it would come back to life and crawl into my car and kill me!!!!"

Where are the big strong men who will kill it for you when you need them?

Hee. We get snakes out here from time to time. They don't really scare me. Not like bugs do anyway.

Ugh! I can't stand snakes either -- had one slither in front of me the other day in our front yard! Mice and rats REALLY get me jumping too!

They scare the poop out of me because I never have liked them and ever since I was chased around the house of a former friend, all the way to my front door by her sister who was holding a snake...I just don't do well with them. Bugs and what not....no problemo, mang....

Disneykat, the snakes won't kill you! Just leave it alone and it will slither away.

OMG BPF that's the problem. I don't like them. Not pics of them not the rubber versions...NOTHING. Snakes are of the devil along with banana's, tomatoes, and mushrooms. I want them to be banished from the depths of the earth never to be seen again. yes they will kill me. Cause I said so.

Disneykat, I know what you mean. I have nightmares of them. I hate them. HATE THEM. I do cry at the site of them. And ask anyone who has riden with me on Indy, BTMRR, or JC, I do not like fake snakes either. I refuse to touch a picture of them, and if one suddenly appears on tv, I scream, curl up, and CRY!

Why? Because I was bitten when I was 2. That's why. HATE THEM.

This is probably why my living situation in Arizona didn't last long....

I'm so glad I live where I do now. Not LIKELY to see a snake... but never underestimate the power of those evil stupid ugly EVIL EVIL EVIL things!

That's funny, I lived in Arizona for 23 years and never once encountered a snake.

But I heard awful stories of giant tarantulas from friends who lived closer towards the desert.

Has anyone noticed the advertisement banner at the top of the page?

OK... I guess it's a rotating thing but I'll swear that when I landed on this page it was advertising something called "Snake Away."

no- I think your right- both the ads at the top of the page have snake in the name. Think they display ads based on keywords on the page.

Aw... you are scared of them? I used to pick them up in my front yard. I guess that's just my tomboy side of me?

Oohh.. and the snakes part is my favorite on Indy. I love when girls scream because they're scared... I break out laughing!

I wish I had your luck. Snakes are drawn to me, I think.

Spiders don't scare me too much. Same with bugs. I don't like them, but I'm not too freaked out by them. Same with mice. Not saying I want these things near me, but I don't fear them and cry at the mere thought of them the way I do those evil little creatures we don't speak of.
