    Interlude with a cat.

OK. I've just had one of the more bizarre experiences in my life.

I was outside having a cigarette when a big grey tabby saunters up the driveway. There is a five foot wall separating our home from our neighbors. I've watched many cats take a leap over the wall... easily. Well, this tabby cat leaps up but can't clear the top of the wall and falls back on his ***!

He, then, proceeded to walk away into our back yard. On a whim, I said out loud, "You could try again!" Immediately, he stopped... looked at me... then went back to the wall and lept again. And, again, he failed to clear the top and fell back on his ***. He gave me a very dirty look and walked away into the darkness of the yard.

I think I made him mad!
"Yesterday, a man walked up to me and said, 'Isn't it a shame that Walt Disney couldn't be here to see this?' and I said, "He did see this, that's why it's here."

We firmly believe here that animals understand English. That's funny that he gave you a dirty look.

Be careful! Cats are vengeful. You might find a gift on your doorstep tomorrow morning ... if you know what I mean!

I have such a clear visual image of this whole encounter! From seeing your pictures, I can really imagine the whole scene -- like reading a book. So funny! Cats are funny. I can just see the evil eye he gave you as he sauntered away. I love it. Thanks for telling us about it.

It's moments like these that makes me wish we all had a video camera on us at all times to catch stuff like this. Great story!
