Don't care about the Super Bowl? - What are you doing instead?

As you most likely know, the Chicago Bears are playing the Indianapolis Colts on February the 4th in the 41st Super Bowl. I am a Bears fan, so I will be sitting in front of my television watching the game.

Some of you are not football fans. Or if you are, you may not root for either team playing this year, so you have decided not to watch.

Perhaps you are a football widow, or a football spouse. In your house, your spouse celebrates the Super Bowl, and you do something else.

Neither my wife nor I care about football. We usually use the chance to get out to some of the otherwise more crowded places like the mall when these opportunities come up.

I'm going to drive all over the freeways! Just swerve left and right and enjoy the emptiness of it all ... as I make my way to Disneyland! Unless a cop pulls me over because of my erratic driving

I've swore off of baseball and football.
Next up will be basketball.

I'll probably be sleeping in, catching up on some studying, maybe talking frenchy into DL, and enjoying my day off.

While my spirits will be cheering on for the Bears fans in here of course!

Halftime shows suck too lately, so not worth watching it.

I live in Aventura, Florida which is about 8 miles from Dolphin Stadium, where the game will be played. I can even see it from my apartment. I will try and be as far away as possible from the traffic mess if we go out, or probably just stay home and watch TiVo.

I'll be in Columbus, GA (On Business), sitting in my room, eating room service and watching the game. I'll also most likely be on the phone to home most of that time and maybe on MC as well.

I don't care about the Super Bowl, but I'll be at a Super Bowl party. We bet, and get tacky prizes.

I don't watch the game....at all....but I'm there!

Super Bowl parties are a lot of fun. I used to attend them when we had our Family Football Pool. The Pool is no more, and the parties stopped. We also had a lot of little side pools. They were fun. A few bucks spent. Good food. Good friends. We watched the game, and I even managed to pick the winner a few times.

I am content to stay home this year, and watch the Bears. It will be fun no matter which way it goes.

Bike ride. (big surprise) It will probably still be on when I get home. If my son's home, he'll be watching. If he's at work, he'll be watching it there, since he sells TVs.
