My Target is going to be remodeled soon then it'll have a Starbucks too!
I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it.
That explains the trouble that I'm always in...

It is definately WalMart! I use to shop at Target, but ever since they pulled the plug on Salvation Army at Christmas last year, NO WAY!!!
I also like how WalMart snubs its nose to the unions. You call unions the American way! I don't think so! I like choice!

Between the two, I'd have to say Target.

Not to be a bummer, but...

Here's some info on Wal-Mart everyone should read.

So whether it's because of censorship, the fact that most of their stuff is made overseas, bad benefits for their employees or bad business practices I would advise not shopping at Wal-Mart. They may be cheaper, but patronizing their business may hurt us in the long run. I'm sure it's only a matter of time when we find out that Target and KMart do the same things. Of the two, I'd pick Target.
    , indeed.

I can't decide, I like both Target and WalMart. I will have to agree that Target is much better for clothes, furniture, etc. I like to go to WalMart for their cheap CD and DVD prices!!

How is this a good thing? Did you live in Southern California last year when the supermarkets went on strike because the damn WalMart is undercutting costs by paying everyone so little that supermarkets can't compete?!?!? My god Wal Mart is the devil. It is not possible for a person to make a living working there but they are replacing small shops in small towns and killing our nation.

We need unions, we need them to protect us from the amazing corperate crackdown of employees in this country. This country is about to be served a big wake up call as traditional pension funds will be terminated across the board in the wake of the recent events involving United. Unions have been rendered powerless, in the name of the profit margins for careless shareholders. Our country is beginning to eats it own tail.

Furthermore for a company that claims to be as American as apple pie they purchase more foreign products than any other company in the United States and have no restrictions on buying it from companies and countries that have known pro child labor functions.

Lastly as far as Target's rejection of the Salvation Army, it stems from news that leaked of mismanagement of funds by the Salvation Army upperlevel management. They continue to allow other successful charties as well as fund massive school programs and ties that contribute to our communities.

    Definitely Target.

But for better people-watching, you can't beat Wal*Mart. I got a bit tipsy after a day of wine tasting on Saturday and I insisted on going inside a Wal*Mart out in the boonies....my husband had to yank me out of the store before we got in a fight or something. I was horrible and loud, I think. :o
