Kevin is on the phone with the police right now filing a report. I wish both our cars would fit in the garage but with a Durango and a Ram pickup that's not gonna happen, especially since we have cabinets on both sides. I did tell Kevin it's time to install one of those obnixiously bright motion sensor flood lights to our garage. Can you believe this happened right in our driveway?

Luckily they didn't steal my little gold Mouse Ears hanging from my rearview mirror or my new Mickey Valentine antenna topper or I would have had to ask for the death penalty.

Those motion lights DO rock. We have one on our garage. Oh, and don't forget the motion light on your porch.

I think that would work wonders. Just go purchase two of the kind in my avatar, one for each car. Occasionally poke them with sticks and pull their ears, really anger them. Then leave them there over night. I think you'll find yourself with no problems in the future.

WOW! I had mine broken into a few weeks ago, and now i'm parking backwards hehehe, things will be back to norm soon!

Funny how they can be so dumb and not take anything else of value, they take time to steal things that take awhile to grab, but simple items are left there! morons!

Well the police came out and dusted for fingerprints but nada. The ten minutes later the glass guys showed up! I love it when things happen in an orderly fashion. New windows will be installed within the next hour.

DH was in the habit of keeping his wallet in the center console of his car and I kept warning him that we'd be screwed if someone broke into his car. He thought I was being paranoid but humored me and stopped doing that a few months ago. Thank God! Next step is going to Home Depot to get a flood light.

Most of what was taken was related to our jobs. Not sure yet if that stuff will be covered by employer insurance or homeowner's insurance. I had some patient charts in my car transferring them from one office to another, and now those are gone and cant be replaced.

No vital information like billing/credit card info. Just hearing tests. I will have to contact the patients to come in for new hearing evals though. I did have one check in the pile of charts but it had already been stamped for deposit only. Even so I called that patient and had them stop payment on it. It just makes me sick all the trouble these little punks have caused me.

I'm so sorry that this happened to you. I had my back window smashed in a few years back and they grabbed a $200 leather jacket.
