    Re: DISCUSSION: In-N-Out Burger

They are close to finally opening up an In N Out in Tucson. Of course it will have hour long waits when it opens, but I'm looking forward to that. We stop there everytime we got into or through Phoenix. I'm not a big fan of their fries, but their burgers are great. They've been taking their sweet time building the restaurant, but it's close to my house.

The one burger I'm craving is Tommy's. I have friends visiting in mid-March and I'm trying to convince them to pick up a Tommyburger for me on their way to LAX. It's about an hour flight. Might not be the healthiest situation to have a Tommyburger, but maybe the microwave can nuke off any germs. I think the FAA might have Tommy's chili on a list of banned substances, though...

Their iced tea is frew brewed, I don't think there are any
other fast food restaurants that do.

I hate when fries go soggy and limp, so I love to get I-n-O
    fries Well Done! mmmmmmm

Only thing wrong with their size hamburger patties is that
they are on the small size. I prefer one larger hunk o'meat.

Yep, In-N-Out fries get pretty vile when they're cold, but fresh in the box, they are simply awesome. Even better if you order them well done.

I tried my first 2X4 after a co-worker ordered his usual, which was a 4X4; and those are pretty good. I'm not sure if I like them, or Fattburger, more.

Anyone know much about that place?

My mom grew up in TX and remembers Whattaburgers as being the best. We tried them a few years ago and they don't live up to the memories. I don't know if they've changed, but I'm guessing they have.

Yeah when I lived in Oklahoma, we had Whataburger, it is definitly not the same!!! Sonic isn't either

In N Out...bleh, if you don't scarf your food down in 5 minutes, and it gets cold, it has got to be the most disgusting thing ever!!!
Three-time MVP Larry Bird, noting that Bryant has been the NBA's premier player for years, told Sports Illustrated's Dan Patrick before this week's announcement, "When someone told me the other day that Kobe hadn't won an MVP trophy, it sort of made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away."

    Re: DISCUSSION: In-N-Out Burger

My regular order is a cheeseburger with grilled onions and ketchup and mustard instead of sauce.
I used to regularly order grilled cheese with grilled onions.
Anything with grilled onions is better to me.
I am going to try the Neopolitan shake though. That sounds great!

I googled the secret menu and a mini-secret menu is on the main in-n-out website.

This is a good, pretty thorough secret menu with pictures! http://www.badmouth.net/in-n-outs-secret-menu/

I just realized they do half tea and half lemonade, they call it Tea-Aid. One of my fave drinks.

Oooh, here is a link for a PDF printable secret menu http://www.badmouth.net/graphics/inout/Secret_Menu.pdf

    Re: DISCUSSION: In-N-Out Burger

I just went to In-n-Out. This thread got me in the mood. Had the Animal style fries and Neopolitan shake for the first time. They are to die for. Ridiculously tasty, but I got full after a cheeseburger and half a shake and a couple of fries.

    Re: DISCUSSION: In-N-Out Burger

I love In n Out. They have the best burgers (double double, with spread and onions, bay-bee!) and, as stated [reviously, their fries are only good if they're super hot and fresh.

Howso? It might be a bit different outside of Wendy's hometown, but I haven't noticed any change in quality the last few years (except in a few stores not following company policy -- some will double dip fries and I got some Iced Tea a couple weeks ago that tasted like coffee).
