    Oscars Vs. Super Bowl

Which television event would you rather watch?

The Super Bowl, with it's exciting football action, expensive halftime show and amusing commercials?

    Or

The Oscars, with your favorite celebrities, a funny host, long winded thank you speeches, and maybe a few political rants?

    Which one are you?

    I'm an Oscar guy myself.
    What an idiot....

Yeah, I do that Twitter thing.

The Oscars are my Super Bowl. I can't wait to get my own house. The first big party I want to plan at my own place is for the Oscars!

Hard to choose. I can like them both. But I would pick entertainment over sports anyday.

    Oscars....

Superbowl is too "commercial", pun intended
Three-time MVP Larry Bird, noting that Bryant has been the NBA's premier player for years, told Sports Illustrated's Dan Patrick before this week's announcement, "When someone told me the other day that Kobe hadn't won an MVP trophy, it sort of made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away."

I'll take the Super Bowl thank you very much. I don't need some Hollywood nitwits telling me what movies are good. I can do that pretty good for myself. Their opinions are way off from mine. Plus I don't want political rants shoved down my throat. If I want them I can watch C-SPAN and some of the people I can see on there are actually politically intelligent (whether I agree with them or not).

    Oscars,

    I hate football.

Plus in the Oscars they do that "in memory of," it's really interesting to see who died during the year, since the news doesn't seem to care.

Oscars, I have always been a movie person. I like the Super Bowl for the commercials though.

    I love the Oscars!
Always curious what surprise movie will unexpectedly win on this night.

The Super Bowl -I only watch the commercials.
