I'd help pay off all my parents bills. Then I would probally give me cousins a couple million. They are having a very hard time, their mom just died, both are only 14 and 9 years old
Then i would buy another Apple iMAC, a few nice video cameras, nice tripods, and build a mansion with my very own studio
Well other than doing the regular paying off of all my bills and taking care of some other personal issues. I would set up funds so that my kids could go to the collage of thier choice. I would then set up a scholarship at my deceased wife and I's alma mater in her name. I would give some to charities that where important to me. After that I would do a little bit of selfish shopping for me like buying a home some where more tropical since I hate the cold. As well as I would get a few cars that I have dreamed of owning. I would beguin my world wide Disney vacation doing all things Disney. I would take my whole family as well as some friends on that one. I would also buy my mom and dad a home near WDW since that would make her happy as well as a hunting lodge in Alabama for my dad cause that would make him happy. I would retire but unlike some people I couldn't just sit back and do nothing so I would volunteer and help the Make A Wish foundation or someting similar to that. Other than that I wouldn't be a much diffrent person than I already am.
Micechatter #5053 Looking for our new home in the WDW area! We need to get closer to our "Laughing Place"!
If I won the lotto, I'd pay off the remainder of my debt, buy a few techie gadgets I've had my eye on, take a couple trips (Paris/London come to mind)... then put the rest in the bank and let it draw interest.
So the real question, as fanatical as we all are now over Disney, where would Disney fit into your new life if you became filthy rich overnight...
There are a lot of things I would do with that kind of money, but in keeping with your original question, I 'll just say what I would do in terms of Disney.....
I would fly every time I go instead of driving and then take a limo from the airport. I would always stay at one of the DLR hotels. And I would get the nicest cabin available on the 15 day Disney cruise.
Everything else I would still try to space out and do over time so that there would always be something new to look forward to whenever I went.
We've been playing for months now, you guys can't win!
We're going to spend a month in Disney World, a month at Disneyland, then go to the Caribbean.
From there, it's the basic stuff. Get rid of debt, get a great house, help my FIL, give our buisness to our one non-family employee, put the rest away and live off the interest. Yeah, we've thought this out.
Ok first thing I would do is yank the land line phone out of the wall.
I once sold some personal Luggage to a lucky lotto (17.5 million)Millionaire who had phone calls from people he had not heard from in years, not to forget to mention the relatives. That is why.
I would first get us in a nice Suite at Disneyland somewhere that week.
Pay off any bills.
Build a house in a nice area of So Cal and Florida.
Make a trust fund for my kid(s) if and when and if we have a second child.
See the World, as much of it as we can. We love to travel.

Buy a bunch of monkeys and have them re-enact the Civil War for my amusement.
That's a more interesting answer than the real one. Give to freinds and family. Buy a house. Buy a car. Go on a cool vacation to end all vacations (every major/significant theme park in the world). Donate a chunk to charity, and invest a load.
