You can very easily abscond with some at night, not that i condonr stealing but road cones are just asking for it

That idea kind of sucks, IMHO.

First, your solution involves committing a crime, which kind of negates the fact that is even a solution.

Secondly, if you remove barriers/signage that is preventing harm to drivers/pedestrians, you can be charged with some serious crimes. Not too long ago, some college kids stole a 'Curvy Road Ahead' sign, and some cones. Some tourist got killed on the road, and the moron kids were charged with manslaughter.

So, uh, good luck with the cones. See you in 5-7 years.

It doesn't matter of they don't understand. That's not your job to speak all of the languages of the world.

I see what you are saying, but why work that hard? Call the non-emergency number for PD, and let them deal with it. She pays taxes, and probably never uses PD, so this is her chance. Worst case scenario, the officer comes out, and asks the driver to turn the noise down, or move somewhere else. They are not going to send out the SWAT team for this.

    Re: Ice cream truck question!!!

Police response for non-emergencies (at least in my town) is pretty slow and the truck would probably be gone before the police arrived. I guess I like to be proactive whenever I can and possible deal with the issue right away.

Trust me I understand annoying neighbors and situations in and around the home.. definetely talk to the police and explain what's going on. They will be able to investigate a bit and check out the lady's permits and maybe talk to her about parking somewhere else.

You can call them and ask what the ordinance states for private property peddling. Usually, the ordinance allows for a taco truck to park at a spot for up to 20 minutes. Private property.

The noise issue should be handled by the PD, but as mentioned, they need to get there while it is happening.

You might try the Environmental Health Dept. They regulate the permits for those things (if she is even licensed at all...).

    Or Immigration...

    Good luck!
