I like QVC. But, I usually only shop for scrapbooking stuff and Jim Shore figures. We got some Wolfgang Puck stuff from HSN, only to find the exact same set (minus 1 pan) for $50.00 cheaper at Sam's Club. They did let us return the cookware.
I have purchased from QVC for years. Great return policy, quick shipping and fair prices. Some things you can find cheaper, but you can't beat the convenience of calling an 800 number, placing the order and getting it delivered in a few days.
I have been a QVC shopper since they began years ago. HSN has always been the "poor relation" compared to QVC. But recently they seem to have improved (adding the Sephora line is just an example). What has also become more appealing at HSN is their EasyReturn method. You just stick the return label on the package and drop it off at UPS. They take it from there. The return fees aren't free, but you don't pay for it up front - it is deducted when returned to HSN.
While QVC is very good about having anything returned to them, the hassle of standing in line at the post office sometimes just turns me off and I just keep the item I was going to return (depending on what I paid, of course).
the location of my profile picture is Knott's in 1972, i'm about 10 months old.
Re: HSN or QVC?
for jewelry i prefer GemsTV, which is actually a newer network. they are only available on DirecTV and in some cable markets..but you can also go to http://www.gemstv.com and see their stuff there. i got some great pink sapphire earrings for only 59$ there. its nice quality stuff, and no synthetic gems at all.
some of the jewelry channels on cable scare me...espcially some of their hosts! rofl...have you guys seen the channel with all the jewelry on the turntable? weird
Will there be screams when the sun sets, -=Is It October Yet?=-
