Anyone want to join me in a weightloss goal?

I am planning a trip to Southern California in mid-June and want to loose 20 pounds by then. (Parents have a pool and I will have to put on a bathing suit). My reward to myself if I meet this goal will be an annual passport. Anyone else trying to shrink? Would love to share motivation.

Sadly, I'm too lazy, otherwise I would...

Migo is practically a personal trainer, and that Dog knows her stuff.

How were you planning on cutting the weight? You may have more takers if people know what plan/means you were considering.

Best of luck, you CAN do it.

If you are on MC Gold, you can join the Fitness Club.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

Re: Anyone want to join me in a weightloss goal?

I was planning on focussing smaller portions and more exercise. But I was hoping this could be a place to share plans, successes, inspirations, because today I feel motivated, but there are those other days. I have tried many plans and believe that any of them can work; I just have to find the one or the parts of many that I can live with for the rest of my life.

Re: Anyone want to join me in a weightloss goal?

I'd like to be part of this, since there are days it seems we're following each other on certain threads ... LOL!

And, now that I can get around I'm getting ready to participate in a bike tour last year ... so I've got a goal to work towards. Currently I'm strengthening my leg by trying to walk everywhere! So far it has helped with some weight loss, and in a few weeks I'll be going to the gym.

Food wise I pretty much stay away from most fast food spots, but allow myself to splurge every once in a while.

So, what are you doing specifically to get to your goal if you don't mind me asking?

I wanna lose 20lbs too so I'll join you. My bio-mom just moved into a new place that has a gym so I'm taking advantage of that and trying to work out alot more.

Some days I will replace a meal with a low carb/ low fat drink or bar (hubby is doing body for life), but basically adjusting to smaller meals. I might try a more specific plan, haven't really decided. And like I said a couple posts up, the adjustment has to be something I can really live with. Today is just the day that I have decided on a specific goal (this is a short term one that will be part of a bigger picture - no pun intended) and I feel really motivated. Setting up the reward helps.
