Not at all. Actually, the sum of $79million is a joke with my wife and I. One day before the baby was born we were driving on the freeway and out of the blue I said, "Honey, what would you do if we won $79 million dollars?" She laughed because I chose 79 as opposed to 75 or 100.
I already know what I'd do:
Buy this $800K house here in Corona near my folks. Buy a house for my brother and his wife. Buy one for sister and her soon to be husband. Buy us new cars. Pay off my folks house and get a new one for inlaws. Start college funds.....invest a lot of it so we can live off interest each month.....Join Disney Vacation Club.......and so many other things.
1) tell certain people that I won so they'd like me
2) pay the taxes on it
3) invest in properties
4) buy a house in LA, Las Vegas, ranch in Texas, North Carolina, NYC
5) collect cars
Three-time MVP Larry Bird, noting that Bryant has been the NBA's premier player for years, told Sports Illustrated's Dan Patrick before this week's announcement, "When someone told me the other day that Kobe hadn't won an MVP trophy, it sort of made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away."
A peanut butter and jelly sandwich. There are foods I like better, and more fancy, but if I was going to die within hours, All I'd want would be a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich and a glass of ice cold milk.
St. Elizabeth, Patron Saint of Themed parks. Protect us from break downs, long lines, and used gum. Amen.
