ANNOUNCEMENT!
It isn't every day that we have huge news for you, but today is one of those days. As most of you have known for quite some time, MiceChat is a constantly growing and changing site. We have always looked for new ways to improve our offerings, news, and information. A few weeks ago, we were approached by another site interested in buying us out. However, rather than walk away from a labor of love, MiceChat will instead merge with TramChat, the premier providers of information on parking lot trams (and all manor of theme park transportation). This merger will position us at the forefront of theme park transportation, and that makes us very proud.
From the very beginnings of the industry, trams, shuttles, buses, monorails, and other forms of transportation have set the tone between what makes the difference between a theme park that is merely good or one that is considered great. Parks like Disneyland became classics, not because they offered interesting rides and shows, but because they were able to capture an audience and lead them to the show via quality transportation. Parks with poor transportation are rarely able to succeed. It is for these reasons that TramChat will become the watchdog of theme park transportation the world over.
In the months and weeks to come, we will be incorporating the TramChat content into the former MiceChat message board structure. During this process, we encourage you to add to our pool of knowledge with your thoughts, photos, videos, and reports of the trains, buses, boats, and most importantly - TRAMS of the worlds best (and worst) theme parks.
We are beside ourselves with pride at this momentous occasion and congratulate all of you for making this possible. The 14,000 MiceChat members, along with the hundreds of thousands of employees and members of the TramChat group will instantly make us the premier destination on the Internet for countless people the world over.
However, through all of this change, one thing is certain, we will continue to look toward the future not only with our new focus on parking lot trams, but perhaps into other important areas, such as theme park restrooms and escalators. Yes, we have grown a lot over these last two years and thank you all for continued support.
Happy April 1st everyone!
-The TramChat Crew
