Colouring Easter Eggs Question

So, tomorrow I am going to colour Easter eggs with the kids I watch. I am wondering if I should boil the eggs tonight or wait till I get to their house tomorrow.

I don't think it matters I think they should be cool, though There should be directions on the egg dye box,

Do them before so they are nice and cool. After you have colored the eggs and they have dried, try rubbing them with just a bit of vegetable oil. It makes them really shiny and pretty!

I looked for directions and all it talked about (at least on the box I have) is the different things you can use with the colours.
I haven't coloured eggs in yrs (they didn't really do it like we do here overseas)! I am excited!!

We used to boil them right before we dyed them. They were warm and smelled of vinegar.

But I agree that you should do them ahead of time if you have time.

if you want 'fancy' eggs..like for a table setting... boil the eggs *not the ones you want to dye* in a big pot filled with lots and lots of onion skins...the paper part of the onion. they come out looking amber/marbled..they're gorgeous!
