Yes, but I haven't heard them say if he shot himself or if police shot him

    Re: Virginia Tech Shooting

Obviously, this is a terrible tragedy of epic proportions, and my prayers go out to the Virginia Tech and Blacksburg area communities.

I attended Cal State Fullerton in the mid 70's when seven people were shot and killed, and I remember what that was like on campus then.

Today is April 16. Columbine happened on April 20, 1999. The Oklahoma City bombing happened on April 19, 1995. Probably doesn't mean much if anything but it's still a little eerie.

Again, my thoughts and prayers to all involved.

This is sad, it makes you feel like you aren't safe anywhere.
My heart and thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of the victims.
Press today is so concerned with cool vs. not cool that they're starting to forget good vs. bad. I'm not sure I'll ever be "cool", but I will always tirelessly strive to be "great". - Josh Groban

There is a special place in hell for that piece of **** who could do such a thing.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those involved, an especially all the Public Safety folks who never dreamed they would be tasked with such a nightmare.

OFF TOPIC...just edited my post to reflect that the Columbine shooting happened April 20, 1999 - not 1995.

Oh, my only news source right now is MC and didn't see that. Indeed this is a rather shocking thing to hear about, and even moreso that so many people were hurt as well.

Originally they said they captured the shooter, now it says he killed himself. The count keeps rising, truly a sad situation.

Things like this make me love and respect my friends, family, teachers, and other school workers even more. They are definatly people who should not be taken for granted . What a horrible day.
