I was looking around and I see a lot of quotes in signatures but I didn't see any threads on quotes from Walt Disney! There are so many but here are a few if yours is not listed please add to the thread!
I've always like the, "It's kind of fun to do the impossible" quote. Helps remind me that things that seem impossible often aren't. It's amazing how many cool and inspiring Walt quotes there are! Can't imagine what the world would be like without him and the legacy he left us.
You're dead if you aim only for kids. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway.
Unfortunately, the WDC executives forget the wisdom of this. This is why that stupid Aladdin's Fying Carpets ride is ruining the atmosphere of Adventureland.
I agree wholeheartedly, that was one of the ones I originally was going to use but it exceeded the 100 character limit.
Along that subject:
We did it Disneyland, in the knowledge that most of the people I talked to thought it would be a financial disaster - closed and forgotten within the first year.
We believed in our idea - a family park where parents and children could have fun- together.
Adults are interested if you don't play down to the little 2 or 3 year olds or talk down. I don't believe in talking down to children. I don't believe in talking down to any certain segment. I like to kind of just talk in a general way to the audience. Children are always reaching.
My favorite Walt quote is "There are four words to sucess and they all start with "C": Curiosity, Confidence, Courage, and Consistency. The most important word is Confidence. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something."
