    Eisner Interview

Mr. Eisner was on the PBS show "Charlie Rose" to supposedly talk about his new book. While they touched on it. The show became the "Great Eisner show". How he alone has made Disney worth 60% more. He also said that if Roy and Mr. Gold had left earlier it would have been more. That everyone who left, it was their time to go and it made Disney better by their leaving. His only two admitted mistakes were: 1) Hiring Mr. Ovitz and 2) allowing James Stewart (Disney War Author) access to anything. Calling his book a total fabrication. Even supposedly quoting Stewart, by saying that it was full of second hand info, and hearsay.
Did anybody see this interview? If you can stand to watch it, it is illuminating on the Eisner ego. He even had the nerve to say his fight with Pixar was due to him telling Jobs no to often and alluded to Jobs just being a spoiled kid who wanted his toys back. He gave no credit to Wells, Katzenburg, Disney, or any of the other members of the Disney Company that brought him in and supported him in the early years. Check this out, again if you can take the arrogance.

    1. Eisner has a history of lying to the press, so I don't trust a word this man would say to Charlie Rose, quite frankly...

    2. If Eisner had left earlier (Retired, after his heart attack and the death of Wells), the company would be worth more than it is now... It is past time for Eisner to go...
