I was roaming around the supermarket the other day and my eyes caught hold of something new and shine - Diet Coke Plus. I was curious so I got closer and this is what I read:
Along with that type of information it also claims to be hydrating as well. But I'm just not too happy with this type of product and the ideas it might foster in some people - mainly that they would drink this under the impression that it is healthy and better for them. Each 8-ounce serving of Diet Coke Plus provides 15% of your Daily Value for Niacin and vitamins B6 and B12, and 10% for Zinc and Magnesium.
I don't really care much for soda, so I won't be buying this stuff anyway. Yet how about the parents who see these claims on the packaging and start giving their kids more of this soda instead of water or juice? For me it doesn't matter how many good things they add to soda, it is still a once in a while kinda thing for me - but there are many who drink this stuff everyday.
