You guys got me!
I was at the mall last night and my nephew wanted to walk into this Japanese store to look at the swords. I went in with him and what do I see.......a butt load of Pocky!!
I had to try some! I bought the Mousse Pocky dipped in Mango. Little box, I shared them but before I knew it, they were gone! My daughters, my sister-in-law, my niece and nephew, they ate them up! I only had one!
Oooh..mango sounds good...was it?
I still have a whole stash from our last "run" a month or so ago. I think I'm Pockyed out for a while.
Which isn't a bad thing, at something like 250 calories per two sticks.
Pocky's not the only addicting thing in a Japanese grocery....
If it's made by Glico, it's probably good. And pick up some BlackBlack. Freshens breath more intensely than any American gum.
If you guys lived near me, I'd take you to Tensuke and show you what to buy.

I am 72 percent sure that the Japanese have some of the best snacks ever. Although i'll admit that Pocky is wearing thin with me.
we used to buy it here at our Air Force base commissary. My daughter LOVED it!!!! Just the chocolate kind though...they sold the strawberry...but, she never liked it. I liked that Hello Kitty rice candy.

My aunt used to bring Pocky for me when she visited. I never really like them. I would just try to eat all the chocolate off
