    Re: Build a bear Collections

I don't "collect" them per se, but we get them for the kids about once a year on a big occasion. And the kids are little enough I can kinda steer them toward the one I want them to get!
    So far, we've "adopted":
A pink poodle, white cat w/pink heart (which DD dressed in the Buzz Lightyear costume), brown bear (the cheap one), Giraffe, Purple Pony, a hearts & kisses bear, A Big Bird, a St Patrick's day bear, and a hot pink bear.
The last 3 we got before DH deployed, so he put his voice in them, calling each of the kids by name...that is their favorite part. DS even dressed his in the full desert-cami outfit!
I reject your reality, and subsitute my own!

My son has Fluffy - the bunny rabbit and just got Lucky, the bear with shamrocks on it. We also have a batman costume, the boxers and tank top and Lucky has a pet kitty.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

    Re: Build a bear Collections

We never intended to collect them, but we have quite a few.

    Poodle
    Hello Kitty
    Pig
    Bunny
    Fluffy Bunny
    2 regular bears
    Koala
    Fluffy bear
    Cat
    Monkey

And a few more, those are just the ones I see all the time. At last count, we had 15.

We have several Disney costumes, every cheerleading costume they've made, sandals, tennis shoes, jeans, skirts, shirts, sweaters, hats, purses, nightgowns....ugh. You name it, it's in our house somewhere.

It's funny in December, we get all the birthday party emails in the same week, because my six year old has gotten 1-2 each birthday since she turned 1.

    Re: Build a bear Collections

Each of my kids has a special St. Patricks Day bear.
I have a St. Patricks Day bear, but its all green while theirs are white with clovers on them.
My oldest has a white bear and my youngest has a horse.
Their dad got me a black bear that I named Big Mac when I was pregnant with our youngest daughter.

We have 3. The Tie-Dye bear was his first. He also has a simple, plain, brown bear and then he got a girl bear to go with the boys. It is a purple bear that they use to send part of the proceeds to a cancer fund. We have a grip of different clothes for them, but haven't changed them in a while.

    Re: Build a bear Collections

    We have…

Monkey – Monkers – the only one that changes outfits, but mostly wears the mickey ears and gloves from DTD. My son has adopted this one and used to carry it everywhere but is apparently out of that stage right now (sadly)

    Tink has:
Nikki I – Tinker Bear (in the first Disney Tinker Bell Costume)
Nikki II – Twinkle (in another fairy costume)
WWF Polar Bear – Mr. Polar Bear
WWF Snow Leopard – Can’t recall it’s name! Which would be due to the fact that it is a good name that is more like something a zoo would name a leopard cub and not something easy to recall like spotter!
Floppy Eared dalmation – Hairy Pupper (in the Harry Potter outfit)
    Unicorn – Sparkley Unicorn
Purple Horse – Stardust (she thinks…)

    And mine are:
WWF Giraffe – (ok, this one is mine and I don’t recall it’s name either) Possibly Rafi?
Orange Tye Dyed bear – “Orange Crush” and I will admit here for all of you that I, a 36 year old, sleep with a teddy bear!! (Poor oschy bear…all squished up!)

Plus each of the kids got a $25 gift card for C’mas that hasn’t been used yet AND Tink still has a $30 card from her birthday (she got more than one) so we are likely to end up there again soon! Tink will likely get Nikki III as that one is available again online and we found out you CAN use the gift cards online!!

I’d give you all of the names, but for some reason the child’s mother (that would be me…) managed to put so much stuff in the top dresser drawer (including all BaB Birth Certificates) that it has now decided to no longer open until someone figures out the engineering issue and can get whatever it is that is sticking up inside to stop doing that. So, perhaps an update may come later?
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!

then 10 seconds later you’d be playing like you were best friends?"
