Albertsons Shoppers, a chance to get 2 tickets to POTC 3 for "free" (kinda)
Currently the Albertsons Grocery Stores in Southern California (and maybe elsewhere) are offering 2 free tickets to POTC 3 if you buy $25 (or multiple thereof) of qualifying Coca Cola, Kelloggs and Unilever products between May 2nd and May 30th.
Lisa and I stopped by Albertsons tonight and got a set of tickets by buying $26 worth of items...
Here is what we got.
6 18 oz jars of Skippy Peanut Butter for $10
3 bottles of Wishbone Salad Dressing for $5
2 bottles of Lawry's Marinade for $4
2 bottles of All Laundry Detergent for $7
The receipt claimed we saved about $23 off the regular prices for those items, and we use all the items listed anyway, so it was a pretty good deal.
Of course, you have to have a Preferred Savings Card to get the deals, but heck, that is also free.

Hmm. I don't know what I'd do with that much peanut butter ;) but it sounds like a good deal altogether! May have to take advantage of that offer.

It would be a good donation to a local food bank :)

I would save more money if I just bought the tickets. ;)

Excellent thought cyre!
We eat a lot of peanut butter... I might actually eat that much! But we don't have an Albertsons here. :(

FYI, the tickets are good for OPENING day, but you have to reserve online...
FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED (SoCal and So Nevada), so get your vouchers and get online. I will post the official rules tonight, or tomorrow morning. (Uploading photos from today first).
But the tickets are worth up to $12 each, or $24. We spent $26 plus tax, and got a lot of stuff we normally use, so for us, it was a great deal.
And for those folks who like "Veggie" items, the Morningstar line is part of the promotion (Thanks to Sadako for the info).
