I say Friday. Usually if I take a day off during the week, thats the day that it is. No real reason why, just cause
"I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. "Groucho Marx
^ But ... if Monday was part of the weekend, the rates wouldn't be so low anymore.
yeah, but the four day work week doesn't really work like the poll suggests. My company has sites in different states and the employees in those states have a 4 day work week. The third day rotates to different week days and once a month they get a three day weekend. Businesses still stay open the 5 days during the week.
Since there will be just as much work to be done, if not moreso, people would just have to work ten or 12 hours a day on the four days they do work, right? People who work 12 hour shifts now in seven-day operations like hospitals get rotating days off...
One of the salons I used to work in we had four day weeks where each day was 10 hours. I prefered having the "Wednesday" (I put quotes because I never had Saturday and Sunday off as my "weekend") because three days means I veg out for those three days. But if I have ONE day to do something, I do housework and other chores/errands on that day. So my weekend isn't ruined.
