    Memorial Day

I would like to thank all of the great men and women who have, or are currently serving our country in the armed forces. Just a thought for Memorial Day. Thanks!

Usually 4:30. Get there a little early if you want to sit on the benches. This has become popular

Only 4:30 for the lower, aka retreat, of the flag. I don't know when the flag is raised but guess it is done before guests arrive.

I have video from yesterday. I used my camera which does not hold a lot and it is broken up into three parts. This is not the entire ceremony, only parts of it. Also sometimes the Dapper Dans sing, but they did not yesterday.

Part 1 The band coming toward the flag and getting into position. (2 min 13 sec)

Part 2 Lowering of the flag. (2 min 18 sec)

Part 3 Closing music. (1 min 28 sec)

The people in part 2 and 3 are those from the different branches of the military that came forward during the part of the program where they played that branches theme. I did not film that.
