    Cats and Oreos

I have a cow cat named Mickey, with a large profile of Mickey Mouse on his back, hence the name. He can be pretty annoying at times because when he decides it's lovey time, you must stop everything and give him lovies! Just a little bit ago, he starts bugging me and keeps playing with the cellophane wrapper that has two Oreos left in it that is sitting beside me on the couch. So I finally pull one out thinking, "this is a cat who is a picky eater, he's not going to want this once he can really smell it!"

    Here's what happened...

    Followed by this...

    Which resulted in this...

    Who knew cats liked Oreos?

Perhaps SM recalls this, but worth sharing here - - I had cats who LOVED the juice from the bowl of any kind of melon, along with marshmallows and red vines (not at the same time thankfully).

    Cats are such delightful things!
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!

I always thought cats were allergic to chocolate just like dogs; whenever my cat smells chocolate, she makes a gagging motion.

Cats and dogs can have chocolate but not a a lot.

There's something in the chocolate, I mean we are the same but because we are larger we can hold more.

I just can't remember what was in the chocolate that can kill us if we had too much.

    Cute cat and story.

Yes, one must be very careful giving cats/dogs chocolate. It can make them very sick or even kill them if they over indulge. I had a cat once who found some chocolate at Christmas and she was one sick kitty for awhile.

I've also heard black and white cats called tuxedo cats.
