I wasn't sure if I should post this in the What Did You Do Disney Today thread or not, but I think it's own thread will be good since I can expand a bit more
The Alameda County Fair is one of the best fairs in the Bay Area. It's a very nice, big, clean and fun fair with lots of exhibits to look at, horse racing, pig racing, all the livestock, and of course the carnival rides. I don't live in Alameda County, not even that close, but every year we attend the fair. And for the past 5 or so years my dad and I have entered the fair.
We enter in the hobby collections divison where you can show off your collection, compete, etc. This is my second year in the "adult" division, but in the past I've entered the youth divsion. This year my mom is also joining us.
My dad's collection is Tom Daniel's cars, my mom is doing old Kodak cameras, and I am, of course, doing Disney stuff (last year I did Start Wars). I just finished setting up today and took some pictures.
I encourage anyone in the area to visit the fair June 22nd to July 8th at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA (http://www.alamedacountyfair.com/fair/). Our displays are located in the Hobby and Gem building. There is voting, so if you go and feel so inclined, feel free to vote for my display
Now onto the pictures!
