Well, I was born in 1982, so mostly? I remember...um, The Land Before Time, and the Baby-Sitters' Club books. Also, Sweet Valley High.

Yay for trashy 80's teen novels!

    double socks!!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Ah, the 80's, times of Tears for Fears (Everybody Wants to Rule the World is my favorite) and when Michael Jackson was known for his music. Not to mention Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the rise of Tim Burton's career, and, of course, the beginning of Seinfeld.

    ZIPS!!!

Anybody remember those? They were shoes with zippers. They had inter-changeable tops and you would just "Zip" them onto a sole. This way you could match them with any outfit you had just by putting a new canvas cover on the sole of the shoe.

Also, on the shoe thing: Roos (which you can still get online)

    Parachute Pants
    Twisted Sister
    Devo
Smear the ***** (I didn't know what the hell we were calling it back then, I sure hope it's called something different these days)

Good choices, Tui. Except for the Flock of Seagulls pic. There's one of the keyboard player in the video "I Ran" where it looks like he's playing the keyboard while constipated.
