    Re: pizza?

There's a small little chain like restaurant here called Mellow Mushroom. They make an awesome pizza with onions, tomatoes, and pesto! Yum!

I like Pizza Hut's pan crust, but we rarely order that.

There's a little NY pizzeria right around the corner that makes a decent pizza.

But I prefer my husband's pizza above all others. We haven't made it in a LONG time (like 2+ years). He even makes the dough, none of that store bought ready made crust stuff. He bases it off a pizza he had at a place called Twinns in RI.

It's called the Aussie (I don't know why) but it has extra cheese, clams, and bacon on it.

It. Is. Sooooooo. Gooooooooooooood! My all time favorite, hands down.

I usually get bacon and pineapple(tastes better than ham) with extra sauce!!! Yummy!
We also have a pace close by that sells a few delicious dessert pizza's.
One is a fruit pizza on a thin crust with cream cheese for sauce. It is really good.
Then they have a banana bread pizza, with cream cheese icing in the center.

I think I may be the sole person who is not a fan of Mellow Mushroom.

I think they're an "okay" restaurant, but I love that pesto pizza.

I thought I was the only one who hated pizza sauce! Amazing. So no sauce for me and with extra cheese and olives, perferably from Round Table. I love their crust.

Pepperoni, mushrooms and onions with very, very, very, very, very, very, very light on the sauce.

Pepperoni, ham, extra cheese, light sauce, thin crust.

Love Round Table and Mountain Mikes (local chain)

I'm assuming that is in Australian dollars. What would that be in US dollars?

    3.95 AUD = 3.39 USD

Frankly, I think many people who say they don't like the sauce have not had really good sauce. Many places are rather ehh.

Okay. That's just crazy cheap! Of course, that is for Domino's and IMO, that is just one minor step above frozen pizza.

i really dont like getting take out pizza, its to greasy and just something about it that makes my stomach turn. if i want pizza i go over to a restuarant called BJs pizza, it has some of the best deep dish pizzas with chunks of toppings. My family and I normally order the BJs favorite which is everything, except that we get olives and mushrooms on the side since i dont like mushrooms. Great now im craving pizza!

I don't know about in Australia, but I believe Dominoes still charges a delivery fee.

This used to be hubby's absolute favorite pizza, until they replaced the cheese with nasty "cheese" topping. Now, he won't go near the place.
    She did it!

    Re: pizza?

The only meat I like on pizza these days is ham. Pepperoni is usually too greasy and sits on my stomach like a rock. And I hate sausage. Anyhow, my fave pizza is: ham, mushrooms, green peppers, black olives & pineapple. Sometimes I get it without the ham to be different.

Back home we liked getting pizza from a local joint called Fred's Pizza. There's a pizza place around the corner from where I live now called Monty's. Heard they're good. Need to try them sometime. I love the pizza at Old Chicago, but they closed the one up the road from me. The closest one now is like 15 miles away in Palm Harbor. So I usually end up getting pizza from the Domino's that's next door to my complex or the Papa John's around the corner.
