    Photoshop Polaroid

Okay so I'm pretty savvy when it comes to Photoshop, one thing I've never learned how to do is turn a normal picture into a Polaroid, I've done it before on my own and it came out great, but it didn't look authentic...I'm trying to get the dirty, scratched up Polaroid look...I know many of my fellow MiceChatters are also pretty fluent with Photoshop, so can anybody help me out in this field?

here's one i made a few years ago...

You just have to play around with the color saturation levels of the original image. also add some slight blur, grain and other noise using the filters. I think i even applied a black circular gradient with the transparency turned way low.

I'd say, first try decreasing the contrast levels, then turn up the red and the yellow levels and then decrease the saturation to give it that orange look of a faded polaroid. I usually add noise and then gaussian blur (at about 0.4, but that depends on the original quality of the image) and then about half the noise again. It's probably more fun though if you just experiment your way through the process, which is the best way to learn if you ask me.
