    Bug Bites/Stings

I went mountain biking yesterday and something bit or stung me right below my knee but on the side of it. It's driving me crazy!!
What's good to get rid of the itchiness?!?!

Go get something called Afterbite (just in the pharamacy area of stores) - it works great. Or, if you know someone in Canada - have them send you anthisan - it's awesome. But, I'm sure it will give you cancer someday as it's not approved in the United States.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

The shooting the leg thing worked great!! But, I got a bite on the leg I shot so do I shoot my original bitten leg now cuz the pain is back?
Maybe it's time for the cancer medicine now..........

Really though, I bought some stuff at lunch and I tried it but it's not doing crap right now.

You can try coritsone cream or Benadryl gel. The benadryl is what I used when I got a bad bought of poison ivy. It really works well, but you have to reapply it a lot. The cortisone cream I use for "ordinary" itchiness.

I actually got the Benadryl stick but you're right, you do have to apply it a lot. For some reason they only want you to put it on 3 or 4 times a day......

I normally would but those pills knock me out and I'm going to Disneyland tonight! I need to be awake to stand in line for Nemo.
