What species are they? Some, like pidgeons, are as filthy as rats and should be erradicated. Other species might be protected (or endangered), which might get your house confiscated by the US Fish and Wildlife Department as habitat, unless you carefully remove them ........

Where do you live? Has West Nile Virus reached your area yet? That might take care of them ......

Younglings you say ........ a fearful older "sibbling" will be returning to wipe out the nest to serve the diabolical plans of its evil mentor .........

We have a hanging basket that has nothing living in it since a few months ago. I'd given some thought to replanting it but before I could do so a pair of morning doves took it over as their nesting place just outside the garage door to the backyard. They made this half assed attempt at a few twigs for a nest and she moved in last Friday. We've named her Ms. Twitchy cause she's very nervous and hunkers down when we approach thinking she's invisible.

Two eggs appeared a few days ago and I did some research on the web and found out the gestation period is 4 - 5 weeks so we're stuck with them well into August. I guess it's better than having homeless people camped in your backyard.

I thought this was gonna be about a different issue.

    but aww! Baby birdies!!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

If they're pigeons, they're way stupid. You can kick pigeons. I've seen it done. There is something so pathetic about a bird that will run away from you in favor of flying away. I hope they're not pigeons. If they are, I say kick them.

But remember, it is always wrong to kill a mockingbird.
The King is back and he's ready to kick some tail. Do not mess with a mouse in black.
