I really wanted to post this yesterday but the dang boards were being spruced up, and may I take the chance to say I love the following;
- The sparkling colour scheme
- The DIG! Al's fabulous MousePlanet updates live on!
- New smileys! It's like Pokemon Red and Pokemon FireRed - all updated! (Sorry very geeky)
Yeah so anyway, the school took us to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon yesterday (it's in my county so its only 15min away) to see A Midsummer Night's Dream. Wow. I will be studying the play for my Fast Track English GCSE in September, and can I just say, I would much rather be studying a comedy than a tragedy like Macbeth (which I studied for my SATs) which are just depressing - if I had to do Shakespeare.
The play was actually really funny, but my only problem was that I had to take a few seconds to translate the Shakespeare language into modern language in my head, and then catch up with what they were saying while I was busy translating!
Has anyone else seen a Shakespeare play at Stratford? There were plenty of Americans there.
