Recently, I went to our local Target to look for a "Ratatouille" toy, and the only thing I saw was "Ratatouille"-themed temporary tattoo Band-Aids.
Yesterday, I went to Wal*Mart - the only thing I could find was the junior novelization. (Somebody did tell me they bought a "Ratatouille" Draw Along With the Chef book there, but I didn't see it there).
What's strange is that there is tons of "Cars" and "Toy Story" merchandise. I even saw some "Surf's Up" toys, and I don't think that's even in theatres anymore ("Ratatouille" is still playing here). Usually, merchandising for a major animated film is virtually inescapable. Here, it wasn't even on the clearance rack.
Was just wondering if this is the case everywhere, or only in Santa Maria.
