I woke up about 3 AM and went outside for about 30 minutes, it was a little overcast and too much light from the city. I didn't see anything and after hearing a skunk going through the trash, I figured I was too tired to deal with it and went back to bed.

Re: It's BAAACK! The Perseid Meteor Shower
I was outside from 11:30 to about 5:30.... I didn't think about counting how many I saw until it was too late, but I saw a lot. Only a few flaming ones, though. But I was sad because at 11:45 it started to get cloudy, so I had to wait as the whole sky got covered, then started to clear up again. It was at about 3:30 that I was starting to see more, but that's when I was falling asleep. So I'd wake up, see a couple, fall asleep again, wake up and see some, fall asleep. One time, I saw one, then another right above it after two seconds, then another below where the first had been. So, it was worth my time.

You're wrong, Brer Rabbit, why would I want to be home when I can be at Disneyland?!?
I was out last night at the beach, it was a nice clear night, and saw about 10-12 from around 12:30 till 2AM. I would have stayed out longer but it was too cold last night and my blanket wasn't big enough.
