 | Nick Hogan in Serious Accident Just thought this was a sad story worth taking a peek at. Nick Hogan, son of wrestler Hulk Hogan has been seriously hurt in a car accident along with a friend. Nick is a race car driver and it sounds like he was speeding. My prayers with him and his friend, and I hope that he uses this to clean up his own life and to discourage teens from speeding.

| Re: Nick Hogan in Serious Accident It looks reasonably good for Nick, less so for his passenger. Reports I have read show Nick in serious condition. In hospital speak this means his life is not in danger but he has injuries that could develop into life threatening conditions. His friend is in critical condition, which means his life is in danger.

| Re: Nick Hogan in Serious Accident Updates indicated Hogan has been released, so it seems his injuries were not too bad. His passenger is still in critical condition and may have brain damage. I hope the passenger recovers fully, and that Hogan doesn't have to regret this for the rest of his life.

Nick hit a raised median on Court (the street Gulf to Bay/SR 60 becomes at the top of a hill that leads you to downtown & the beach). WTF was he doing going that fast on a street that has a stoplight every 1/4 mile?!

| Re: Nick Hogan in Serious Accident I find it interesting that he has been released and his passenger is still very badly hurt. Looking at the pictures of the car it seems more damage happened on the driver side, but that could be the result of extraction efforts

| Re: Nick Hogan in Serious Accident thats too bad that the passengers still in the hospital not to be a mean person,but thats what happens when ya don't listen. He'd been pulled over quite a bit for speeding and for no seatbelt while speeding. He was supposed to go to court this week i read. |

I worked my usual Fire-Crisis job this weekend, and we had no less then four fatalities, and I don't think any of the victims were less-worthy than some wrestler's kid (who was merely injured, and at his own expense). So I guess I am having a hard time getting to amped up about this.
