I would probably be uncomfortable with anyone other than the intended recipient reading my PMs. UNLESS... it was clearly announced somewhere that Mods may monitor them. Then I'm fairly warned. Otherwise, it's always good to be careful what you type anywhere.
"Yesterday, a man walked up to me and said, 'Isn't it a shame that Walt Disney couldn't be here to see this?' and I said, "He did see this, that's why it's here."

My friends and I just called a rose a rose. There was NOTHING posted that mods/admin would read your posts. We knew one of the members from another board and questioned her morality in a PM, not in a very nice way.
They're called Private Messages, so I feel they should be kept private... unless you receive a PM that's a threat or in bad taste or something like that. Then it should reported to a mod or admin.
I've seen alot of drama on other boards that's been caused over some unbelievable PMs sent and received. It really makes you wonder how sane some people who post on various message boards really are. After awhile true coliur can shine through. It's amazing how many people I thought were "cool" turned out to be major freaks.
Yeah... and I am only safe with Tui reading my PMs... er, wait. no! Just the ones that I send to him. So I'm with you Tom Chaney, to the recipient only. (Unless someone forwards? ) Sorry to hear about that Twinmom... but that's another reason why MiceChat rocks!!!
I've been suspended over a PM to a board owner’s pet troll :cough: :hack: I mean best friend, :clears throat: and learned quickly that you just have to take it in stride. In theory, PMs should be immune to moderating, but in this realm it’s really “anything goes.” So, even though PMs shouldn’t get out in public or be seen by others, always remember that they easily could, and write accordingly.
