I'm not quite sure I believe that everything except the high fructose corn syrup was boiled out (domestic Coca-Cola stopped having cane sugar in it in the late 70s/early 80s to get The Coca-Cola Company out of a contract problem). It seems like the water was just boiled out. That leaves you with the syrup. The ratio of syrup to water in Coca-Cola is one to seven.
I drink a lot of Diet Coke. Prefer the taste now to regular Coke. But because of the various things thatare in them, I am told that diet soft drinks aren't good for you either.
Another question. I know that Pepsi was served at Disneyland at one time. It was a sponsor of the Golden Horseshoe. Was there ever a choice between the two in the park? Or has it always been the monopoly situation (like now with Coke) so typical of any major food operation in recent decades? Wonder if anyone knows.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
