The theory is that if someone names the 7 dwarves they will say "bashfull" last.............or if they can't think of that "last" dwarf more then likely it will be bashfull..............I didn't tell it well :shy:
I remember mine from a commercial long long ago- so I always say them in this order:
"Sleepy, Happy, Grumpy, Dopey, Sneezy, Bashful, Doc"
It had someone asking if people could remember the names and this is the order they said them in, over and over. As you can see, it really stuck with me ;)
Countless times I have done this at small parties and gatherings and most of the time I drop jaws:
I secretly but in full view of everyone write down the name "Bashfull" on a large piece of paper...then ask someone(or a couple) to name the 7 dwarves. When they have named the first 6 and are struggling to remember the 7th I hold up the card :imtheone:
Yes, I do look a little silly when they do remember Bashfull.....but so far, that only happens a fraction of the time.
Funny... I always list them in their official order: Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey. So Dopey is always last in my lineup.
